Plot (Alur)

Inspirasi
Unstoppable menggambarkan insiden "Crazy Eights" kereta tanpa awak pada tahun 2001. Kereta api, yang dipimpin oleh CSX Transportasi SD40-2 # 8888, kiri Walbridge, yang halaman rel Ohio dan bergemuruh perjalanan 66 mil melalui barat laut Ohio dengan tak seorang pun di kontrol, karena throttle yang sedang diterapkan pada penuh bukannya rem .
